Who we are
This website is run by Douglas Cunha Domingos, Itapemirim, ES, Brazil (“we”, “us”). For anything about your personal information, email torodandoblack@gmail.com.
What we collect
Information you give us:
- When you order: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you add one, and what you bought.
- When you contact us: your name, email, order number if you include it, and your message.
Payment details: you pay on Shopify's secure checkout. Card details go to Shopify and Stripe, our card processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically:
- Device and usage data, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and what you add to your cart.
- A cart cookie that remembers your cart for up to 14 days. The store needs it to work.
- Cookies and similar technology from the Meta Pixel, described below.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order, including returns and refunds.
- To answer your messages.
- To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
- To measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
If we send marketing emails, we'll only send them if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with companies that help us run the store:
- Shopify (opens in a new tab), which runs our checkout and stores order records for us.
- Stripe (opens in a new tab), which processes card payments at checkout.
- Our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, who receive your name, address and order details so they can deliver it.
- Meta Platforms, which receives website activity through the Meta Pixel (see below).
- Our website host, and the services we use for email and contact-form messages.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, when needed.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our customers or our rights, or as part of selling or merging the business.
We don't sell your personal information for money.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta, to see which ads bring people to the store and what they do here: viewing the product, adding it to the cart, starting checkout and completing a purchase on Shopify's checkout. Meta can connect this activity to a Facebook or Instagram account and use it to show ads. Meta's use of the data is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Your choices:
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this website doesn't load the Meta Pixel and we treat the signal as a request to opt out of sharing. Shopify's checkout is set to honor the same signal.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart needs its own cookie to remember your items.
- You can change how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook ad preferences (opens in a new tab).
Your rights and how to use them
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Stop using it for advertising.
Email torodandoblack@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. To protect your data, we'll confirm the request with the email address on your order before acting on it, and we'll reply within 45 days. You can also have an authorized agent make the request; we'll ask for proof that you authorized them.
California and other US states
California law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) gives California residents the rights above: to know, correct and delete their personal information, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. Using the Meta Pixel for advertising can count as “sharing” under that law. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing, or you can email us. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
In the last 12 months we collected the categories described above: identifiers (such as name, email and IP address), commercial information (what you bought), internet activity (pages and products viewed) and approximate location from your IP address. They come from you, your device and Shopify, and we use them for the purposes listed in “How we use it”.
Residents of other states with privacy laws, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas, can use the same request process.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for shipping, returns, customer questions, and tax and accounting rules. We delete contact messages once we no longer need them.
Security
We use established providers and limit who can access customer data. No website or service is completely secure, so we can't promise information will never be exposed. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
This store is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also tell customers by email or with a notice on the site.
